เรื่องย่อหนังใหม่เตรียมเข้าสัปดาห์นี้มีหนังสยองขวัญเข้ามาอีกเรื่องสำหรับ Before I Wake หรือ ตื่นแล้วเป็นหลับแล้วตายที่ชื่อเรื่องชวนให้นึกไปถึงหนังอีกสองเรื่องคือ Awake หลับเป็น ตื่นตาย กับ Before I GoTo Sleep หลับ ลืม ตื่น ตาย คาดว่าคนตั้งชื่อไทยคงหากินวนๆอยู่แนวนี้นี่เองแต่สำหรับ บีฟอร์ไอเวค นั้นดูจากเทรลเลอร์น่าจะเป็นหนังผีมีพล็อตอยู่ไม่เบา โดยเล่าเรื่องเกี่ยวกับเด็กชายวัย 8 ขวบนาม โคดี้ (รับบทโดย เจ้าหนูขวัญใจมหาชนอย่าง Jacob Tremblay ที่เพิ่งโกยทั้งความนิยมและรางวัลไปกับหนังชิงออสการ์เรื่องRoom) โคดี้มีความสามารถพิเศษคือเมื่อใดที่เขาหลับความฝันของเขาจะปรากฏรูปขึ้นเป็นความจริงไม่ว่าจะเป็นฝันดี หรือฝันร้ายก็ตาม ไงน่าสนใจมั้ยค่ะหนังทำนองนี้ และแน่นอนในคืนแรกมันเป็นสิ่งอัศจรรย์สำหรับพ่อแม่คนใหม่ของโคดี้ที่อยู่ๆ จะมีผีเสื้อเรืองแสงบินไปทั้งบ้านอย่างสวยงาม ก่อนที่จะกลายเป็นฝันร้ายในนามเคงเกอร์แมนที่จะมากินมนุษย์ทุกคนไป (ชื่อนี่ก็ไปเฉลยได้เท่มากตอนจบ)เล่าเพียงเท่านี้จากเทรลเลอร์คงเห็นภาพรวมของความสยองขวัญสั่นประสาทแล้วสินะแต่เดี๋ยวก่อน…หนังจริงนั้นกลับไม่ได้เน้นไปที่ตะลึงตั้งให้เราตกใจหรือจะเน้นความน่ากลัวกดดันจนเราอยากเผ่นออกจากโรง ถามว่ามีมั้ยมันก็มีบ้างตามองค์ประกอบหนังผียุคใหม่ แต่ก็ไม่มากเมื่อเทียบกันแถมดูๆ ไปฉากสยองขวัญยังไม่ใช่หลักของเรื่องด้วยซ้ำไป ดังนั้นสำหรับคนตั้งใจเข้าไปปิดตาดูหรือพาแฟนไปหลอกนั่งกอดกันกลมคงผิดหวังนิดๆนะ ดูหนังออนไลน์
