In 1970s New York, former writer June Leigh (Naomi Watts) lives alone in his late grandmother’s dilapidated apartment. After being cut off from the outside world Anxious and frightened, she spent the day looking at the abandoned neighborhood below from her fourth-floor window. In the midst of the notorious “Summer of Sam” in the sweltering heat, June meets Margot. (Jennifer Ehl) Her estranged friend comes to visit, who is shocked to see June in depression. Margot helps her clear the apartment and tries to get her outside. But June suffers from panic attacks. meanwhile Tune’s intercom was ringing all day long. But no one was there when she answered the call. Margot hands over a . 38 to June to prevent revealing that June’s father died of a heart attack. and her family reprimanded her controversial writing. Rejecting her, June called her publisher and asked for money in advance. They refused, claiming that she had to send something new soon. She tried to write a new novel. but had to suffer a writer’s block one afternoon. June allows Freddy (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), her grocery delivery boy. Use her wash basin to wash herself. and they became friends. He revealed that his mother had died in a house fire while trying to get him out. let him be severely burned June calls the police as the intercom harassment continues. A police officer (Jeremy Bob) arrives and explains that he can’t do much. But he suggested he could provide additional protection for her in exchange for sex.
