Synopsis for one day Jesse finds a box with four videotapes taken by Kate (Joelle Carter) speaking to Jesse by her full name. She congratulated her on her 18th birthday and gave her death tarot cards that told the story of change. by a friend she met at a local church teaching her to listen. Kate warns that an undesirable presence is haunting Jesse. A reading that turned out to be true When Jesse feels that a skinny, dark-haired woman (Amber Stevens) has haunted her since she moved back to her father’s house. Jesse also had vivid dreams where she was strapped to a bed by her mother and witnessed a voodoo ritual in which blood flowed into her ventilator choked her. Leon tries to stop Jesse from watching the tape multiple times by destroying the first tape and throwing Jesse’s wheelchair into the creek one day. do physical therapy After lifting Jesse into Kate’s old wheelchair. Leon forces the physical therapist to leave the house. After telling Jesse that Kate in the tape wasn’t her mother due to a tumor she had. Leon tried to burn all the tapes. But a supernatural force burned him alive in the garden shed during Leon’s funeral. Jesse reunites with her high school friend Preston Sanders (Mark Webber). But collapses after she sees a man burned deeply (Vaughan Wilson) after Preston leaves Jesse’s care. She watched the third tape which focused on Leon and Kate on their outing and Christmas.
